Faeted Hearts

For fans of fantasy romance, featuring fae, witches, magic, queer casts, and more.

The Faeted Hearts series contains the following content warnings (none by MCs): coarse language, death of a parent (past), blood and violence, sexual content, shadow play, death and sacrifice, mind/memory manipulation, drugged, attempted assault, ableism (internalized, intentional, unintentional), chronic pain, mental health, panic attacks (brief), physical scars, mild body shame, emotional manipulation and abuse, injury of a wild animal in self defense (by MC, no other animals are injured or killed), use of animal bones for magic (brief, non-graphic)

Not every book is for every reader, take care of yourself. It is entirely possible I have missed something. If you feel this is the case, please reach out and let me know so I can add it here.

**Please note that the Faeted Hearts series is a series of novellas. That means despite the shorter word count than a novel (40K+), these are completed books and are intentionally focused on the characters and story compared to my other epic romantasy books you might be familiar with.

Storm & Sacrifice (Faeted Hearts, #1)

I was fifteen when my mother was killed by King Azemar Xeris. I’ve kept hidden for years, working the mines and keeping my head down.

Until I wake up on an altar, about to be a sacrifice for a dark ritual I don’t understand, with icy blue eyes glaring down at me.

I don’t make it far in my escape when Prince Xeris apprehends me, accusing me of crimes at the mine I’m certain I didn’t commit. But apparently I’m not the only one who has been a victim of these sacrifices.

In an effort to clear my name, I’ll have to work with the prince to find the killer and the purpose of this ritual. If only I could shake his familiar blue eyes, a Xeris family trait.

The autumn equinox and blood moon are approaching, and I’m determined to be the last victim in this ritual. Even if I have to work with the prince who has turned a blind eye on his kingdom’s suffering for years.

I just have to hope I’m not working with the very male who tried to sacrifice me.

Guard & Guise (Faeted Hearts, #2)

Malachi

I know her. She’s beautiful and brilliant and absolutely perfect.

She’s also the only fae who has ever hated me.

My mate.

Now I have a chance to make up for my mistakes, prove to Aspen that I’m not some dumb guard who can’t string together a sentence. The more time we spend together, the more I’m falling for her, and that hope might destroy me.

The Stars showed me my mate, but she still has no idea what we are.

Aspen

The last time I saw him, I told him I never wanted to see him again.

Until a summons brings me face to face with the guard who turned the worst day of my life into a nightmare.

The new king and queen have requested my help in uncovering a witch within the library I call home, but it means I’m forced to work with him.

Except the guard isn’t as awful as I made him out to be in my head. Malachi is funny, brilliant, and redefines everything I’ve ever known and experienced in life.

This is all a guise, but I’m starting to wonder if maybe I’ve been guarding myself from the truth.

Guard & Guise is book 2 in the Faeted Hearts series. While each book will be following new main characters, it continues with the plot and events from Storm & Sacrifice, including character crossover, and is suggested to read them in series order.
