Aiolos - change; ceremony where the Kallie receive their names (duty to the Kallie) from the gods
Alkina and Kohns - twin moons, gods
Allene - peaceful; leader of Kallie with Frici
Alpheus - river god; Kahyr’s father
Altheta - healer
Amdt - power of an eagle
Ariene - rock
Asalie - sun, god
Batair - strong warrior
Broga - scared
Calin - powerful warrior
Ciro - throne, sun; a city of people who were banished from the forest, grew over thousands of years to tend the land themselves without the gods
Coilleach - guardian of the forest
Corowa - rocky river; village in Donoma
Dela - night
Donoma - sight of the sun; a city developed after Ciro became crowded, strength in farming and education
Dour - from the water; ocean separating the lands of Ciro and Donoma from Kallie
Dreail - water origin; village in Donoma
Egan - fighter
Ejnar - lone warrior
Epide - hope
Evinrude - swift boat; Ciro’s fastest ship
Fiske - fish
Frici - peace; leader of Kallie with Allene
Fridolf - peaceful wolf
Gaile - stranger
Havarr - high warrior

Iason - healer
Inachus - river in Kallie
Ince - innocent; unnamed Kallie boy
Inesa - innocent; unnamed Kallie girl
Irfan - knowledge, wisdom
Kahyr - warrior; guardian of the forest
Kallie - from the forest; peaceful people who live in the forest and maintain a relationship with the gods Alkina, Kohns, and Asalie
Khepri - morning sun
Kinthe - guide
Kroka - moves slowly
Kuruk - bear
Kyael - mighty warrior
Kyrenia - mermaid
Lakile - half-wood
Laven - cloaked
Levia - join; the Kallie idea of marriage, the joining of two with similar names/duty, their version of love
Malana - float
Mika - intelligent raccoon
Nevus - snow
Nixa - champion
Oubastet - winged cat; has a poisonous bite and is most feared creature in the forest
Phela - little wolf
Prentice - apprentice
Psiche - soul
Pyrenia - the fiery one
Salali - squirrel
